This vintage Louis Wain cat Christmas card is complete with the original brown cord to the side.
The inside of this rare and collectable vintage Louis Wain Christmas card has the extract of Robert Burns Auld Lang Syne verse printed which reads:
“Should auld Acquaintance be
Forgot, & days o’ lang syne?
The message to the inside of the Louis Wain greetings card reads:
“From Daddy to Nobby Somewhere in France 13 12/17.”
It must be noted that when soldiers are on active service they are not permitted for security reasons to divulge their whereabouts.
