Betty Compson was an American actress in the early days of movie making. Betty Compson first appeared in the film Wanted: A Leading Lady (1915) and then in films such as:
- Lovers and Lunatics (1916);
- Wanted: A Husband (1916);
- The Enemy Sex (1924);
- The Pony Express (1925);
- Hollywood Halfbacks (1931);
- Hollywood Boulevard (1936) and
- many others
In 1930 Betty Compson was nominated for an Academy Award (ie Oscar) for ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ in the 1928 film The Barker.
This is a very collectable Picturegoer postcard of this important American film actress, which is in Near Mint condition.
