Collecting Collectables has for sale this rare and very collectable real photo postcard of H.M. King Edward VIII in military uniform wearing braid and ribbon decorations, by Raphael Tuck and Sons (Number 3923).
Although this postcard is not used nor dated, it is possible to accurately date this postcard to 1936 since King Edward VIII reigned between 20th January 1936 and 11th December 1936.
The reverse of the postcard gives a quotation from King Edward VIII’s Empire Broadcast.
The postcard is in Near Mint condition, with only very slight age toning to the reverse.
This is a magnificently rare, collectable and desirable postcard to have a real photo postcard of King Edward VIII as King rather than as Prince of Wales, and in military uniform.
